A recent IMA find which was recently discovered in the attic of an old house in New England, this is a fine example of an untouched Union Cavalry Trooper's M 1860 Saber made by the firm of C. ROBY of West Chelmsford, Massachusetts. An incredible find in that this fine example is a midwar dated 1863 example, the year of the Battle of Gettysburg! It is in very nice honest matured condition. All markings are clear and
